45th Cerejeira Party

The Cerejeiras Festival is a great partnership event that welcomes a large audience every year. The activities of the Festival take place in the presentation arena, the food square, the Cerejeiras Forest and the Planetary.

The event features presentations from folk dance groups, community singers and dancers and Taiko groups, the traditional Japanese drums, as well as cupola sessions and exhibition of paintings about Japanese culture at Planetario.

The audience can taste various typical dishes such as Udon, Yakisoba, Temaki, Tempura, Sushi, Gyoza, Sakura-moti and more.

In the Forest, visitors can appreciate the cherry blossoms "Sakura" in a delicious "Hanami": the art of observing the flowers.

As a parallel attraction the "Tanabata": the 4th Star Festival. Write your orders on the sacred stripes of paper ("tanzaku") which at the closing ceremony will be burned, leading the orders to the stars.
